Share your photos of science in action and you could be a #ScienceSnaps prize winner!

#ScienceSnaps

Taken any interesting #ScienceSnaps in Glasgow and the West of Scotland? Share your photos with us and you could win a prize and see your photo on display in the shop window of Jessops!

We've teamed up with Jessops to bring you #ScienceSnaps - a collection of images or photographs representing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, Maths, Medicine, and Social Sciences (STEAMMS) in action taken by people who live, work or play in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

Our panel of judges will periodically select an image we've received to be awarded our #ScienceSnaps prize:

  • A 12" x 8" canvas print of your photo to keep
  • 25% off all photo products and gifts for 1 Year in Jessops on Buchanan Street in Glasgow
  • Your Science Snap displayed in Jessops on Buchanan Street in Glasgow
  • Your Science Snap displayed on screens at Glasgow Science Centre
  • A 'Photograph of the Month' certificate

To get your creative juices flowing, here's a gallery of some of the #ScienceSnaps received to date. Click on an image below to open it in our Facebook page and see some of the science behind the image.

It's your turn! Get snapping science and send your photos to us!
