Success stories

Whilst Glasgow is globally recognised as a vibrant city of culture and the arts, retail and architectural splendour, it’s less well known as a leading international destination for scientific discovery and innovation.

Glasgow is an international centre of engineering and science excellence in areas like low carbon and renewables, aerospace, defence and marine, advanced manufacturing electronics and sensors and imaging – but this capability also supports growth in other key sectors.
